EXPLORING PATHWAYS TO RESEARCH COMMERCIALISATION WITH ENTERPRISE IRELAND

This week, 16 – 17 October 2025, through our collaboration and knowledge exchange within European university networks, we had the opportunity to follow Enterprise Ireland’s Research Commercialization Roadshow, an inspiring forum showcasing how innovative research can be transformed into impactful, real-world applications.

The events held in South East Technological University and Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board (KCETB) brought together researchers, investors, and innovation leaders including insightful contributions from Dr. Pat Lynch (RIKON), Barry Downes, Professor John Nolan (NRCI), Dr. David Culliton, and Enterprise Ireland representatives to discuss how research ideas can grow into market-ready solutions that benefit society.

Sessions like “Stories from a Research Leader” and AI Investment Insights offered valuable perspectives on connecting academia with entrepreneurship, an approach that deeply aligns with our goals at BECEE Project in strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem across Europe.
