Innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration took center stage as the University “Aleksandër Moisiu” Durrës (UAMD) successfully hosted the BECEE Startup Pitch Day, a flagship activity organized within the framework of the BECEE Project (Balanced and Enhanced Collaboration for an Entrepreneurship Ecosystem).

The event represented a significant milestone in UAMD’s ongoing commitment to fostering entrepreneurial education and supporting students in transforming innovative ideas into sustainable, market-oriented ventures. This edition of the Startup Pitch Day focused on one of the most important sectors for future societal development, healthcare and medical innovation. Student teams presented a diverse portfolio of startup ideas designed to address real-world healthcare challenges through innovative products, services, and technological solutions. Their projects reflected a strong combination of scientific knowledge, creativity, market awareness, and social responsibility, demonstrating the growing entrepreneurial potential among university students.
